Whether for inspection when purchasing a vehicle, documentation during detailing, or in the workshop: this handy measuring instrument shows you exactly whether and to what extent a vehicle has been repainted or filled, or whether it is in its original condition.
The Paint Analyzer measures the thickness of non-metallic coatings on magnetic and non-magnetic metals. The device automatically detects whether the substrate is magnetic (e.g., steel) or non-magnetic (e.g., aluminum) without any effort on your part. This allows you to get started right away and see the measured values immediately on the illuminated display.
You can choose between single, continuous, and differential measurements and switch the units freely between μm, mil, or mm. The compact housing fits perfectly in the hand, and operation is intuitive with just three buttons. The measuring probe is sensitive and highly accurate, a truly professional instrument for anyone who wants to know the exact details.
Thanks to the practical calibration function (zero point, offset, and basic calibration), you can optimally tailor the device to your application scenario. Basic calibration is performed using a precise 7-point system. The necessary calibration foils and zero point plates for magnetic (Fe) and non-magnetic (nFe) substrates are included in the kit. Thanks to its automatic shut-off and easy-to-read backlit LCD display, the Paint Analyzer is a reliable partner, both indoors and outdoors.
